Ludovic Engelvin 2014 Les Vieux Ronsard

Ludovic Engelvin grew up in the Langeudoc, but is most heavily influenced by his time working alongside Didier Dagueneau and the wines of the world he tasted while working as a sommelier.
A 100% Grenache Noir from old vines. This cuvée has less fruit and more savoury notes like graphite, black olive and pepper. Over time tertiary notes of leather and cedar have developed. Well-integrated tannins and lots of structure. These older vintages are drinking perfectly now!
