2021 Brouilly

Alex Foillard’s Brouilly comes from the aptly named 'La Folie' (Madness), a steep vineyard just above Reverdon.
The general rule is that Brouilly is the Côte de Brouilly’s slightly softer, more sensuous sibling and Foillard’s is a glorious example. Alex's 2021 Brouilly wafts from the glass with sensual aromas of sweet blue plums, berries and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, ample and seamless, it's elegantly refined and resonates with gossamer tannins, juicy acids and a long, perfumed finish. Superb.
