Xiao Pu 2023 Tangerine

Chinese orange wine - notes from the makers:
60% Chardonnay, 20% Petit Manseng, 12% Viognier and 8% Gewurztraminer. The Chardonnay provides body, Petit Manseng contributes acidity and structure, Viognier adds acacia blossom aromas, and Gewürztraminer lends an extra touch of richness. All varietals underwent fermentation with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled open containers. Dried orange peel, kumquat, Oolong tea on the nose, with a floral jasmine-lychee lift. A touch of soft tannins complement a round body, balanced by crisp acidity.
