Rose fizz! Zwiegelt grown on a steep steep slope close to Franz’s house. It handled in two ways to begin with. Some fermented as whole berry, the rest crushed and left to macerate until fermentation. Then the juice is moved to ferment for six months in steel tank and wooden barrels before the eventual secondary fermentation in bottle.
So refreshing. Cherries, raspberries and all the other red berries sprinkled with a bit of spice. Ultimate Australian Christmas wine. True blue Franz.
