Vignerons Schmölzer and Brown 2024 Prêt-À-Rouge

Notes from VS+B:
This is a blend of Beechworth Shiraz (50%), Pinot Noir (40%), and Sangiovese (10%) from vineyards under uncertified organic management. 2022 was a cooler, and wetter vintage from the previous few, so this wine is delicate, and a little subdued. Layers of red-fruited enjoyment, savoury complexity and satisfying structure to length. Think macerated strawberry, blueberry, cherry, and a crinkle of oregano herbage.
