Growing across the tropical north coast from Queensland to Broome, rosella or wild hibiscus is a particular flower that blooms in different colours throughout the year, from bright yellow, pink to rich red calyx. The flowers are hand picked, dried and ground into flakes. The little red grains share similar qualities to that of sumac, in being tart-sweet in flavour. To make our aromatic wild herb blend, the ground petals are blended with aromatic herbs that complement its tart-sweetness like rosemary and thyme. The result is a perfectly balanced aromatic seasoning blend, with subtle notes of roast garlic. Delicious everyday seasoning. will make your house smell like nana’s home.
