From forty year old vines planted over marnes gris littered with oyster shells, this is always the first parcel of Chardonnay Nico harvests and the result is a wine of incredible verve. Pressed directly to old barrels for two years of élevage, this displays a tightrope balance, combining citrus, salinity and a deep, stony minerality to incredible effect.
