Matthieu Barret 2022 Rosé

The ‘Petit Ours’ Côtes-du-Rhône, translates as ‘little bear’ and is a Syrah sourced from vineyards planted on clay and gravel soils.
The north-facing vineyards are all farmed organically and worked using biodynamic methods, in keeping with Matthieu’s approach. Not only is it the most perfectly labelled wine - glitter pink, teddy bear, clear glass full of this gorgeous petal coloured liquid - the flavour astounds. That’s what happens when a talented Rhone winemaker with access to some of the best parcels in the region, makes a pink drink. Summer berries, blood orange and a bit of thyme - fill yourself to the brim with this delicious little drink.
