Savagnin from a single NW facing block, the ironstone and clay of this steep site have always given us a wine of power. Pure 2024 is a wine born of extremely challenging growing conditions. A wet, cold spring led to poor flowering, and a hot, hard summer of no rain was to follow. 600 bottles produced. Opening to aromas of sweet spice and honeyed fruit. A beautiful mineral core tangos with ripe orchard fruit. A wine of power and place. Textural, its generous yet youthful with hallmark Manon energy.
