La Mutine 2024 Bourgogne Aligoté

Domaine La Mutine is based in Island in the Vézelay area of northern Burgundy, a quieter and more raw corner of the region, far from the polished image of the Côte d’Or. Aligoté from Givry in southern Burgundy, grown on granite soils reminiscent of parts of Beaujolais. Gently direct pressed, racked after a day, then aged on lees until the following March. Expect lemon zest, green apple and white flowers, with a sharp yet highly drinkable acidity. The finish is bright, energetic and saline, making it irresistibly fresh and vibrant overall.
