The Kamara Pure Retsina Chilled Red is a natural wine from northern Greece that reimagines a traditional style with a modern approach. While most Retsinas are white, Kamara’s Chilled Red version adds a unique layer of complexity and freshness using the Xinamavro red grape. A light 5 day maceration, then pressed and the Aleppio Pine resin from the Evia Islands are added to ferment in a cloth bag, no mass produced chemicals here. 5% skin contact Muscat is added, battonage on lees in tank for 8 months, no filtration or fining. Greek natural chilled red Retsina, not many around!
