Jauma Wines x Wildflower Collaboration

This is an exceptionally special ale. For over two years, organic grenache and shiraz juice from wood vineyard in McLaren Vale, SA sat and matured with freshly brewed Wildflower Gold in a single 2,200 litre foudre. For 30 months, these two disparate threads melded into something singularly unique bearing the fingerprint of both makers. At release, the ale pours a vibrant crimson with a standing head. The aromas are reminiscent of the grenache with heaps of cherry and raspberry backed up with white pepper and anise. The beer comes on the palate lending carbonation, of course, but also a structure that shows the shiraz with a bitterness that matches the tannin. It's unbelievably tasty, this drink, and I am exceptionally proud to offer it.
