Gismondi 2022 Pietre Bianco

A 50/50 mix of Malvasia di Candia and Falanghina from vines planted over rocky limestone and clay at some 400 metres altitude in the hills of Cerreto Sannita.
The grapes see a four-day maceration which this year has had a more noticeable effect, drawing things into more of an orange wine territory. Pressed off the skins into steel, the wine was bottled in the spring with no additions. This is refreshing, citrus with salt and a bit of peach. Volcanic. Tropical. Everything!
