Foradori 2024 Morei

All notes from Foradori’s deep thinker Theo Zierock.
A bit closed out of the gates; classic Morei. Chalk, rough plaster on the walls, builders dust. A working-class wine. Construction work, sweat and cheap cigaret tes. Then the dark fruit emerges. Something talks about cemeteries here. Sweet and dark fruit. A long earthy finish. A soft and serene longing for death. There is a clarity of intentions in the glass. A bit dark, but life is just a long finish in the end...so what? Morei 2024 grips longer onto your teeth as if the knowledge about the inevitable end does not entail an acceleration towards the final call. The acidity is marvelously elegant, hints of blood here and there. As Teroldego to me is a variety about Blues and melancholia, this Morei sums up this perception of mine in the most erudite way once again. As the great Andrej Platonov said: "I lived and languished."
