Carto 2023 Rosé(ish)

Brendan, the winemaker is a chef by trade who ventured into the natural wine world in 2014 creating Carto Wines.
Shiraz from Jim Zurella in Sellicks Hill, McLaren Vale. Piedmont shale, schist, quartz and sandstone soils. Portion direct pressed and another portion through carbonic maceration for 4 days, then in 300L barrels for 1 year. 1.5 years aged in bottle before release. “Rosato” style. Juicy, berries, saline.
