In 1984, Arturo Pelizzatti Perego, rich with experience from his father’s and grandfather’s wine estate, gave birth to Arpepe, believing in the potential of Valtellina and with the goal of producing long-aged Nebbiolos, in the tradition of this area.
Today, Isabella, Emanuele and Guido continue the work of their father. Rosso di Valtellina is the most faithful expression of each growing year, reflecting their characteristics year after year. The 2023 Rosso di Valtellina is the purest and most approachable expression of the estate. Made from younger vines and shorter macerations than the single-vineyard crus, it is vibrant, aromatic, and immediately enjoyable.
