Ar. Pe.Pe. 2018 Valtellina Superiore Riserva Grumello Buon Consiglio

In 1984, Arturo Pelizzatti Perego, rich with experience from his father’s and grandfather’s wine estate, gave birth to Arpepe, believing in the potential of Valtellina and with the goal of producing long-aged Nebbiolos, in the tradition of this area.
Today, Isabella, Emanuele and Guido continue the work of their father. The vineyards lie at 370 metres above sea level, at the foot of Grumello, and are the starting point in the creation of Ar. Pe.Pe Grumello Riserva Buonconsiglio. This is followed by a manual harvest, where the Nebbiolo must be perfectly ripe, and a maceration of 102 days in wooden vats. Following fermentation, Ar. Pe.
