DEFIALY 2023 Pretty Much Red

A firm favourite in the Defialy stable the last few releases, again an atypical blend of 60% Dolcetto and 40% Zibbibo.
It’s a little lighter, butterfly steps across the palate, bitter refresh like an amaro wrapped around a Mediterranean garden full of blossom, citrus and a plate of antipasto on a little iron side table, waiting patiently. Dogwood, wormwood, bayleaf, plum - flavours like you’re casting a spell. It’s a chillable red, sure, but certainly on the more engaging side. Will translate from Spring to cooler months with its plushness and detail, side by side.
