Patch Wines 2023 Marsanne

There's heaps of Yarra action in the shop right now...
And we're ok with that. Nice story over at Patch - It's a collaboration between Kirilly Gordon and Matt Talbot that came to life after a brief stint working together in the Yarra Valley before COVID struck. When a patch of vines laden with ripe grapes turned up with no home to go to, it seemed like an excellent idea to turn them into wine! 70% direct pressed and fermented in stainless steel 30% spent two weeks on skins in terracotta before being basket pressed and blended with the tank component. A textural palate with fresh quince aromatics.
