This variety that really has only reached its true potential in the Jura, is shown very true to its variety in this wine. In order to do this, Eric vinified it mostly in tanks to retain freshness and this gorgeous fruit profile, which aids the wines’ light touch profile. There’s that lovely spiciness, like smelling a complex amaro, or walking through a pine forest straight after a warm rain. There’s this energy that salsa’s through the wine, supple tannins dance to the front, backed up by some lean, iron-rich notes underneath, like broken terracotta and a hint of prosciutto. A perfect wine to introduce yourself to Jura, or get reacquainted with an old friend.
