Ranchelle is a small winery of four hectares located in the Maremma, an area along the south-western coastline of Tuscany.
Founded by Christoph Fischer, a German expat who had been working in Florence as a digital archivist, it was established with the goal of conserving the region’s oenological heritage. De-stemmed and fermented on skins for about 1 day, in stainless-steel vats. Even with a short maceration the wine is a rich colour and falls in the light-red category. Crunchy red fruits are followed by a zippy acid line.No SO2.
