Last year was 100% Moscato Giallo, in fact i think 2021 was the year of skinsy Moscato Giallo - as ironic as per the name of the wine. This year it's more grown up, different grapes but same vibe - fresh, floral, fruit forward but restrained textural. Much more three dimensional - business up front, party in the back. 50% whole bunch Sauvignon Blanc - half direct pressed then remaining bunches macerated in the juice for 7 days and 50% destemmed Zibibbo (Riverland) macerated for 14 days. Elevage separately in old oak for 8 months, racked together into stainless to settle for 1 month prior to bottling. No additions.
