Yann Bertrand 2022 Lantignie
Beaujolais Village...
A young vineyard, 15 year old vines planted on deep sandy granitic soil at 500 meters altitude in Lantignié, on the edge of the Régnié appellation. Strict carbonic maceration (without Juice) for 20 days, elevage in used barrels (80%) and vat for 8 months. Exuberant and youthful, raspberry and spice. The palate is luminous and round with spice and an earthy edge. Plump yet refined. Raspberry, cranberry and red skin. Lovely freshness. Presently Beaujolais Village, the winemakers of Latignie are working hard to have it designated the 11th Cru.
