Fresh cherries, both red and black, with soft herbal notes. Like all great reds from the Jura there’s this note that reminds you of walking in a cool, dark cave - cold water and wet rock. A subtle hint of mushroom - oyster mushroom. On the palate it’s so elegant, it sweeps across and almost flutters like a bird across the sky, the flavours might seem fleeting but they just finish in this beautiful mineral rich note and a cheeky tartness which forms its delicate, but sturdy spine.
