2021 Solo il Vero Resta
Established in 2020, and run by husband-and-wife Francesca Gozzo and Davide Boldrin, the two-hectare vineyard is named after their daughter Flora.
The vineyard sits on a mix of calcareous and volcanic soil, and the vines date back to the early 1960s and 70s. Made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc. 50% de-stemmed by hand and 50% whole bunch, 36 hours of macerations on the skins. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, unfined, unfiltered, no added SO2. Citrussy and zesty, but also tropical. Electric acidity.
