2021 La Lena

Colle Florido is situated in Abruzzo, just outside the little town of Pianella, not far from Pescara on the Adriatic coast.
It was established by Andrea Ugolotti and his wife Daniela. Andrea gave up high-end hospitality to reconnect with the land, learn how to farm and to produce some great wines. La Lena is a 100% Montepulciano, direct pressed in steel vats, where it ferments and rests until the following spring. No SO2. Powerful and textural, earthy and savoury with great fruit.
