Winemaker Michael Downer's family first planted grapes at their farm in the Adelaide Hills in 1998, spurring Michael to study wine and spend time exploring his passion in places such as Barolo and Great Western.
Using wild ferments and minimal intervention approaches, the aim is to create complex and structured wines displaying a strong sense of where they're from.
