2021 Rush Bros. Vineyard Malmsbury Chardonnay

Notes from Pat:
Dry grown chardonnay from a beautiful 5 and a half rows between Malmsbury and Taradale townships. The winemaking methods here have developed over six years working with the fruit. Tellingly, the elevage has arrived at comparable methods to true icons and benchmarks of Victorian Chardonnay (namely Eastern Peak and Cobaw Ridge) where very long and slow fermentation in barrel build enormous complexity over dry grown, own rooted P58 cone Chardonnay. A true gastronomic style with breadth, layers and length that is deserving of generous cooking.
