2023 Not Quite White

Micah certainly loves to experiment with blending, revealing qualities, symmetries, characteristics that perhaps have never been seen before.
Here we have Pinot Blanc and Vermentino, fermented separately and then half in french oak, half in stainless. The fun and freshness obtained from a lower alcohol wine and one that relies half on a somewhat neutral variety (usually) is mind boggling! So much like licking a Frosty Fruit while you're on a swing in a park on a hot day. Licking Wizz-Fizz from the corners of a packet, the palate tingles with brightness. A big bowl of fruit turned upside down on your head - lemon, orange, pineapple, make a hat from it! Refreshment and fun, whilst not being totally overwhelming with fruit.
