2020 Brouilly

Based in the small town Blacé, in Beaujolais, Sylvere Trichard took over his families four hectares of vines from his uncle in 2012.
There are now 6.5 hectares under vine, all farmed organically. Grown organically by a friend on porous sand and decomposed granite, a shorter 10 day carbonic maceration as the quick draining soils gave even more concentrated fruit than the other cuvees grown on heavier clay loam soil. Aged in concrete, bottled with no added sulphur. A powerful wine.
