Enrico Ciroi is the mastermind behind Controcorrente. Daniele Piccinin wines provide the base, which are blended with only a handful of carefully chosen botanicals that Enrico believes complements the wine.  Less sugar than usual is used so they are perfect as a base spirit or solo. The Bianco is a Chardonnay and Durella base steeped with lemon balm, tangerine and chamomile. Lovely in a spritz, white negroni or simply on the rocks with a squeeze of lemon and a dash of soda. Aperitivo or digestivo ready. A vermouth that can do both.
