2022 Roccolina

Ranchelle is a small winery of four hectares located in the Maremma, an area along the south-western coastline of Tuscany.
Founded by Christoph Fischer, a German expat who had been working in Florence as a digital archivist, it was established with the goal of conserving the region’s oenological heritage. The fruit for the Roccolina is harvested and fermented separately. All varieties do about 2/3 days of skin contact. After fermentation it is blended in steel, where it rests for an additional 5 months. Some texture and structure are balanced out by a fresh acid line.
