2023 Turbo Lover Riesling

The Outlaw is sourced from an 85-year-old Riesling block out the back of Tanuda. The soil is sandy loam, and the whole parcel is in organic conversion. The fruit was picked mid-Feb, de stemmed and saw about 24-hours of skin contact before pressing. Transferred to seasoned French oak puncheons, where it stayed on gross lees until it was racked to stainless steel one month before bottling. Love and respect for Riesling but such a site driven wine. A more classic style off firstling with layers and layers of fruit and spice on top.
