2022 Pied de Mouton

Lisanne and her partner Edouard were living in Loire.
Lisanne had her negoc project, Sonshine Vins and Edourad was aworkign with Bertrand & Lise Jousset. The ultimate goal for them was always to buy their own parcel of vines.  After a long search, at the beginning of 2021 they secured 4 hectares, a winery and house in Jujurieux, Bugey. Settling in the summer 2021, they harvested the very small amount of fruit that remained post several bouts of frost, and Domaine des Sonnettes was born. 2022 Pied de Muton marks the first release of a still wine from Lisanne and Edouard. The blend is 85 % Gamay, 15% Poulsard. The gamay was whole bunch, Poulsard de-stemmed, 1 week maceration. Elevage in tank. A cracker of a wine (and first release)  Fruit, mineral, structure. Light to medium bodied, baby Jura in style!
