2021 Little Liar

Notes from Rasa…
83% Grenache / 17% Cinsault Grapes from, and winemaking done on Ngadjuri and Peramangk country. The Grenache comes from Krondorf. A vineyard planted on hard red-brown textured soils with an alkaline subsoil. Picked on 23/2/2021. The Cinsault from Vine Vale’s deep sandy soils over orange clay picked on 3/4/2021. Both parcels were fermented in a semi-carbonic style for 9 & 10 days, before being foot stomped for a further 10 days on skins. Pressed to seasoned 225Lt & 300Lt French barrels for completion of fermentation and ageing.
Aged for 16 months before blending.
Bright fruited, savoury. Medium bodied, red wine.
