This young and dynamic project is how Matias wants to express the full potential of Argentine Terroirs, combining a high level of technology, the richness of the native soil of their vineyards, and new winemaking in Argentina. Settled in the heart of Vistalba, in the region of Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza the estate manages 20 hectares, divided in three different vineyards at the foot of the Andes Mountains. De-stemmed and macerated lightly for up to 5 days, this sauvignon blanc is fermented in concrete eggs before being bottled without oak, leaving it light, zesty & fresh at a very relaxed 11% ABV. The nose is fresh grass, rue & citric fruits, with a marked mineral character keeping it lean and grounded. On the palate, it has nerve, intensity and volume with the grape playing second to the rich terroir of Argentina that has been so strongly expressed here.... intriguing and downright delicious.
