Farmhouse ales are traditionally brewed during winter by farmers to quench their thirst on summer's gruelling days of field work.
This beer ferments and matures for 12 months in oak barrels with indigenous yeasts. At the end of maturation, fresh blackberries and Tai Rosso grapes are added. These are grown by Siemàn on the Berici Hills.
