From Nariño in Colombia.
The name ‘Los Rosales’ comes from the roses that are grown throughout this region. Nariño is warm on the plains and cold in the mountains where coffee is produced. Cooler temperatures and high altitudes put additional pressure on coffee trees to produce their cherries, resulting in a higher density and often smaller sized ‘bean’. The flavour of coffee produced in these conditions is profound - some of the most complex and interesting coffees come out of this region.
