Le Pas Saint Martin 2020 Saumur Rouge Pierre Frite

100% Cabernet Franc from 30 year old vines on silicious limestone soils from the Jurassic period.
Grapes were hand harvested, fully destemmed and macerated for 6 days before alcoholic fermentation. Wine underwent malolactic fermentation and was aged for one year in tank before bottling. Intense nose of blackberry, blackcurrant, spices and chalky notes. Ample and ripe on the palate, the tannins are supple and the finish fresh and long.
