This lush, lifted red is made from Gamay (Gamay Saint Romain) grown around the town of Roanne in the upper Loire valley, 'Loire Volcanique'.
It is made using whole-bunch fermentation where stems are added to give spice, vitality and 'crunch' to the wine. With impressive depth and squishy, enveloping fruit, 'Eclat de Granit' is a sensory treat from this Loire superstar. 5th generation vigneron, Stephane Serol is renowned for his work in organics and biodynamics plus the winery is now fully carbon neutral.
