2022 Semillon

Richie Harkham, is an ebullient man who likes to have fun and this spirit is evident in his wine.
Fermented with indigenous yeasts this hand harvested Hunter Semillon is made without the use of additions or added preservatives. It has been bottled unfiltered. We haven't had an Aziza's Semillon for a few years, the last was the 2019 vintage. It is a wine I miss for it's zesty lemon freshness, nowhere does zesty lemon quite like Hunter Semillon. It's also saline and briny, like a young Jura Savagnin, clear and pure. There is this year a real vibrancy and an attractive Jalapeno like lift to the finish, it's a lovely drinking wine !
