2022 Pirate (Magnum - 1.5L)

We met Jean-Baptiste aka Jean Bouteille aka JB when he was behind the bar at 10 William St.
JB has travelled across the world making different beverages, until recently finding a home in the Basket Range. Third time making this wine, this year's Pirate is 80% Merlot and 20% Semillon from Vine Vale, Barossa. Whole bunch, carbonic maceration ferment topped up with some direct press Merlot juice. Generous and pretty, much like JB. A guzzler. Built to plunder.
