Jean-Paul worked his first vintage in 2007 in Nuits Saint George, Burgundy.
He starting out picking grapes, but somehow ended up in the winery within a week. Notes from him - Fruit from Mount Alexander & Strathbogie Ranges. Picked in late March, gently pressed and fermented and aged in French barriques. I love Pinot Gris for its savoury freshness, and I think I nailed it. The result: a tasty, refreshing wine with flavours of nectarines and green apples.
