Australian Verdicchio is a rare beast.
Fighting Gully Road love Italian varietals. They make up a great portion of 65 experimental varieties planted on site. The Verdicchio here is picked by hand, whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless. Aged in seasoned oak it is bold, dry with plenty almond notes we come to expect with the great Verdicchio of Italy. Beechworth is the new Marche. Who knew!
