2021 Tonimbuk Amphora Granite

This cuveé is comprised of Pinot Grigio (An Italian clone), Pinot Gris (A French clone), a handful of Chardonnay and 5 single rows of Sauvignon Blanc farmed by Nikau at the Tonimbuk site.
This is an orange wine but with a very refined and elegant feel to it. It has great structure and drive which come from the lean Granitic soils. The time in amphora has given it another layer of complexity and while it is a varietal blend, being from the same vineyard, and in fact the same part of the vineyard it has a very cohesive feel to it. Wild ferment, No s02, No pumps, No adds, No oak. A pure representation of site, place and time. Sealed with premium natural cork and beeswax.
