2021 Pinot Gris

This fruit is from Robert Surmann’s farm just outside of Hahndorf. The vines are 25 years old and grown on black sandy soil which lays onto of petrified schist. A lasagna of whole bunches and de-stemmed pinot gris thrown into a 3000L jarrah wood fermenter.. Skin contact for 21days, pressed to barrel, bottled January 2022.
