2021 Ni Cru Ni Cuit

Romauld is one of the most underrated and understated winemakers in the natural wine world.
While Romuald’s winemaking may be simple, the resulting wines are superb. The work is more done in the vineyard. He refuses to spray copper and sulphur on the vines. When he does have to treat the vines he does so with his own creations of wild plant, spring water, whey and clay mixes. Ni Cru Ni Cuit is a Gamay blend of parcels from Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly. From old vines planted over granite, basalt and schist this cuvee is lifted and bright with super fine tannins. Long finish, but a smooth ride. Turn on cruise control and enjoy the sights.
