Tempranillo from the majestic amphitheater vineyard in Hope Forest, Adelaide Hills. This beautiful north east facing, sloped vineyard is farmed organically by David Gartelmann. The vines thrive on a mixture of clay, alluvial rocks and sand. The grapes are hand-picked and carbonically macerated for a week, then crushed and left for a day and pressed the following morning. The juice is then reductively fermented in stainless and barriques.
