2021 La Luna Blanc
Before becoming a winemaker, Bruno Duchene was a very successful wild mushroom supplier.
So successful in fact, that he had a car phone in the 80's to deal with all the work, and was able to retire by the time he was in his early 40's. Sitting around doing nothing didn't really suit Bruno though, so he set up a winery in Banyuls (in the Roussillon region near the Spanish border) and started making his own wine. Now, his wines are highly sought after throughout the world due to their complexity and unique expression of this sometimes-overlooked region. The La Luna Blanc is a smooth textured flavour wonderland blend of varieties that changes from year to year and includes Grenache Blanc, Pinot Gris, Xarel-lo and Chardonnay. Think minerality, acidity, apple and citrus - fresh, Juicy and intriguing - we love it!
