Grenache Gris made by a true genius!
Hors Champ is the name given to the experimental wines made by Cyril Fhal aka Clos du Rouge George. The fruit for these wines come from close friends within the Roussillon and surrounding areas. They are energetic, built to be drunk young and extremely quaffable! La Femme Soleil is made from biodynamic Grenache Gris grown on slate. They are whole cluster pressed as soon as they arrive at the winery and aged in wooden vats for nine months. Fresh, savoury with plenty of tropical fruit notes and a wicked lick of acid on the finish.
